MCS Superintendent Stephanie Lockwood said Jones’ strengths are a good fit for Marion’s priorities and plans.

“We are excited to welcome Principal Jones to Marion Community Schools,” Lockwood said. “She has a strong background in school management and in behavioral supports, and she is committed to providing excellent opportunities for students. We look forward to her leadership at Kendall Elementary.”

Jones earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Hanover College, and her master's in educational leadership from Indiana University-Purdue University-Fort Wayne.

Jones will take the lead at Kendall after spring break starting on March 31, following MacKenzie Harrell, who resigned to take on a new opportunity. Marion Community Schools is grateful to Harrell for her years of leadership at Kendall Elementary School and wishes her success in her future endeavors.
