From Principal Harrell: Another year of learning!

As we embark on the second half of the school year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt wishes for a Happy New Year to all our Kendall families. May this year be filled with growth, learning, and memorable experiences for our students.

As we resume our regular schedule, I'd like to remind everyone of a few important matters to ensure a smooth transition back to school:
  • Punctuality is Key: Please make sure that your child arrives on time each day. Our school day begins promptly at 7:45 a.m., and instructional time starts immediately. Being in their seats on time ensures that students don't miss any crucial learning opportunities.
  • Dress for the Weather: With the winter season upon us, it's essential for students to come prepared for outdoor activities. Please ensure they are dressed in warm clothing, including jackets, hats, and gloves, as we want them to stay comfortable and safe during recess.
  • The Power of Reading: One of the most valuable habits we can encourage at home is daily reading. Taking time to read with your child not only fosters a love for literature but also strengthens their language skills and comprehension. Whether it's a bedtime story or a few pages after dinner, your involvement makes a significant impact on their academic journey.
Thank you for your cooperation in these matters. Your partnership is vital to the success of our students, and we appreciate your continued support.

Wishing you all a fantastic start to the new year!

Warm regards,

MacKenzie Harrell
